Does anyone have any idea what the price will be like in the UK on launch for the GTX 295 ?

Also if it will be available in stores/etailers ON January 8th ?

I doubt it'll be anywhere close to the GTX280, the GTX285 might be close, the 295 will be more like 4870x2 money or slightly more.

I've seen 4870X2s new for under £350 including VAT, so these cards are going to have to be priced well if they want to be at all competitive.

Don't bother asking me where, we all know the rules. :p

To be competitive: £450 or less
To beat out ATI: £400 or less

Add £100 for the first couple of weeks, price will settle after that I reckon. £400-£450 to begin with, £350-£400 afterwards.

Agreed Webbo - pretty much what GTX280 prices were - I cant see them justifying pricing it any higher

ps3ud0

having read the thread title, I thought the op had information! lol
I think they will be £450+, but initially, around £500,
remember the 9800gx2 when it came out? that wasn't even new tech, just 2 underclocked gts's stuck together, at least this is going to 55nm :D
