Does anyone know of a cable which allows DVI output from a PS3?
Dont forget to check if your screen is HDCP compliant though!
It's the OCUK 24" one. Made by DGM.
Can I use that?

Can you link to it please? IN 24 inch monitors I just see some Dell, Acer, Belinea, BenQ, NEC etc (no OCUK own brands etc).

iirc that lacks HDCP and so wouldn't work.

I don't know whether you saw my double post, but how would I check for compatibility in my HDTV?
Im guessing this is another screen? TBH if the TV has got a HDMI port then its pretty much guranteed to be HDCP compliant as the encryption is mandatory under HDMI regulations iirc. If you can try a blu-ray film via HDMI the screen goes blank if it isnt compliant. lol
It's a different screen yeah.
It was one of the first HDTVs around and as such hasn't got an HDMI port.
Also, I don't have a PS3 yet, this is all in preparation for when I eventually get round to buying one.

Youll need a PS3 Component cable then, HDCP only applies digitally, so if youre not going to be using HDMI or DVI at all, you don't need to worry about it.
A few websites Ive found say that is in fact HDCP compliant via DVI so based on this all you will need to get is a HDMI to DVI cable.
Aren’t there two types of DVI too – DVI-D and DVI-I iirc, this has caught me out in the past, as I think one isn’t available in HDMI to DVI…. or am I thinking VGA to DVI![]()
Scort.
