Gaming New Years Resolution? :D

More and longer LAN parties, to finally get the local municipal gaming initatives we're rooting for up and running, to organise the clan and generally to get the social initiatives going round here

Game-wise, probably just even more CoD 4 only interrupted by finally getting myself to finish Planescape Torment & BG 2 again :D
 
Be patient and wait for the games i dont want as much to be lowered in price. I got stung by spending £50 on Fallout 3 this year, even though it was worth it month after it was for sale for £20 :<.
 
Realise I don't enjoy console gaming anymore and sell my console.

Stick to the odd PC game when I need a fix.

I'm getting old ;)
 
I know exactly where your coming from Huddy...

mine is to actually put some practice into race07 and actually be able to at least keep up with my m8 on it... only then will I consider a G25 over my barely used momo lol
 
My resolution is not to buy Football Manager and Pro Evo this year because the two are past their best now.

'Must inflict serious pain to oneself' if either of these games are purchased this year ... unless they are greatly improved, which I doubt. :(
 
Buy L4D and hope there is a server running in Korea (probably more like Singapore, eg. tf2)

Finish HLep2 as well.

Just bought HL anthology on Steam. So pretty much the same.

I guess my overall gaming resolution would be to complete more games instead of leaving them 3/4 finished. I have a hell of a lot on Steam to complete now (Beyond Good and Evil / UFO Series / HL Anthology) that need completing!

I've never played HL2 before... Ever. Yet I've heard such good things about it, is it really a good game or is it passed its day now as I'm thinking about getting it.
 
I'd say HL2 was okay. Personally I don't rate it as highly as other people mainly because I just see it as a FPS with no real new elements but very well polished. The episodic gameplay as well is annoying because I've now done EP1 and EP2 and the games still not over!

It's worth a go for a cheap price.
