M$ free trials

i'm trying to download a free trial of server 2003. I have several of these trial disks with my M$ books but im skint and they need selling so i dont want to register them.

ive been all over the M$ site and i get to here, if i cancel to not enter my details it takes me to here and then i click on server 2003 trial and end up going round in a loop. if i enter my details it goes through the whole process as i'm buying it and they'll be mailing me the disk. so how the hell do i just download a free trial

i have a live account and can access the mcp site

I don't know if this helps but MS Dreamspark offers this software to students, free of charge.

there are a few taboo's on the forums... one of them is never refer to Microsoft as: M$, Micro$oft or even MicroShaft...

You'll only get a load of abuse for doing so!!..

the one where it looks like it wants to send it to you through the post is actually a download...they email you a key and provide you two links on that page once you've been through putting all your info in...first link is the main cd and the second link is the r2 technologies. i know, because i went through it the other week.

i was merely using it as an abbreviation, didn't realise it offended people. honestly i'm not one of those smug linux users.

No, only you belong in the idiot corner.

From what I remember, you DO have to complete the transaction as if it were a sale. They email your product key, bill you $0.00 and then give you a download link after the "checkout".
