Blue is the OcUK 'identity' and it's done us for 6+ years and been fine for me. The black scheme works too though. Personally, if you're heading towards the black scheme, then I'd make it a user choice. 99% of the work will already have been done - create a common template based on the current blue one and then create sub-options for blue and black. Put the blue and black buttons in subdirectories with the same filenames and point each template at the right place. Jobs a good'un.
PS - I voted blue, but then I'm heavily biased in that direction (going all black would make more work for me ).

Definitely stay with the blue. As I said in the other thread the black doesn't work on laptops very well if you have the contrast turned down. It looks great on my desktop but not good for my laptop.
