Sigur Rós - Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust (2008).
Gallows - Orchestra of Wolves (2007).
Silversun Pickups - Carnavas (2006).

Those were the three that first spring to mind.. I would list more, but judging by everyone elses lists, I'd probably be rehashing what's already been posted :P

Ocean Colour Scene - Moseley Shoals - one of the few albums I can listen too all the way through without skipping a track.

Brave choice.

I can understand why you might think that when compared to their other works.

The influences underpinning this, IMO, master piece are incredibly diverse. I won’t go over them but I selected it mainly because the album has no real sense of what it is or where its creators are headed, yet! Only that the journey has begun.

For me the first play of this album was a breath of fresh air. Discovering the tracks in turn felt like waking up on Christmas morning as a kid to discover the carrots had been nibbled, the milk drank, with a plethora of oddly shaped presents strewn around waiting to be individually unwrapped.

...trail of dead - Worlds Apart.
Nirvana - In Utero
Wheat - Hope & Adams

just off the top of my head...i have a fair few more tho..

Rage Against The Machine - Renegades

Love this album. All covers and all great :)

Guns N' Roses - Appetite for Destruction

I was talking to my mate about this a while ago. If I was only allowed one album for the rest of my life it may be this as it's one of the highest quality full albums I've ever heard.

You should write for Pitchfork.

Was thinking about this earlier and was just wondering what other people would say...

Is there any albums you consider to be "perfect" or very very close to perfect?

I managed to come up with (What's the Story) Morning Glory by Oasis, as it's one of the few albums where pretty much every track is single quality.

A couple of people have suggested The Fat of the Land, by prodigy, but I've never really got into them so I can't say I've heard much of it.

Ideas anyone?

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium :)

Oasis, Jack johnson. Beatles, Offsrping

4 artists with every album released getting top marks from me.

ill also throw in Nirvana's "Nevermind" as it's a classic! and "Whatever people say i am thats what im not" by Arctic Monkeys, great album.. shame they're pretty rubbish now though :|
