Who else is single this Valentines day. Will be my first one in 18 years so I'm planning on hitting town with a couple of mates.

Anyone else planning on taking advantage of this situtaion?

It's OVER a month away!? Why are you;

a) starting a thread so early
b) arranging a night out this far in advance
c) assuming that you will not find a (new) partner by then. I guess after 18 years you're not looking but you never know what's round the corner!

a) My mate who works in Ireland is coming over for his birthday which falls on the 14th. This then led to b) He asked if we were going out, hence having the idea a) to start the thread and c) I have no interest in having a full time gf

Yup I'll be alone this year (again)

Only been a couple of years where I was actually seeing someone. Oh well. Maybe that's just one of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of it.

It was always an expensive time of year for me. No change this year I'll probably spend just as much on the night out
