ATI release 8.12 hot fix

just to let everyone know

'Note: The hotfix driver is only necessary if two or more ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphic cards are installed in the system with ATI CrossFireX technology'

no point for single card dx9 users then ?
 
This release adds multicore support to the CCC package in Vista, XP DX9 users already have multicore support.

It's basically adding what NVIDIA have had for a while.
 
In Warhead, not exactly taxing the cpu (tried a few res below, not much difference), seems to be spreading the load around though.

have installed the hotfix and it has given me better stable clocks.

820/1090

it had clocked this to 840/1150 but i had BSOD so manually set it back and ran 3D Mard 06 again to test

edit that.

noticed when running 3d mark 06 there were artifacts all over the graphics so decided to drop it back to what i'd got it clocked at before.
