Want a Car...

or, why not post a thread saying you've won the lottery, spec me a supercar, you might have more of a desired effect ;).

At the end of the day, buying a car is very subjective, everyone has the right car for them but it won't always be your choice, so my advice would be to take your winning scratch card to your local garages and say, look, i've won 7777 quid and i'm looking for a car, can i test drive this, then decide for yourself what suits you.

At the end of the day, this thread is more of a failed 'look i've (not) won the jackpot on a scratchcard' thread, and by the looks of it, i'm not the only one.
 
i read that dampcat...i want something...fun...and cheap...maybe old, like an AE86, or MK1/2 GTi, havnt checked how much on insurance...shouldnt think a lot...

All the cars you've suggested are FWD. Treunos and Levins are not cheap.

Toyota MR-S is RWD (but 'girly'), Mazda MX-5 are also RWD and girlyish, but are meant to be excellent cars.

When i was 18, and i passed my test, my insurance on a 1.2 16 year old Nova was £1300.

You will be raped.
 
Grin and bear driving in a rubbish and slow car for a year. You're a lot less likely to get in trouble in a slow car, and will reap the benefits in a year or two.

I remember being like this! I feel so ashamed looking back now, but I didn't pass my test until about 6 months ago so I didn't go specing cars, but I gave some of the insurance companies a good laugh (how much to insure me on an RS2000 etc.). :D

Seriously OP, spend £1,000 to £2,000 on something like a Focus. They're nice cars - reliable, cheap to fix, and moderately sporty too.

Put the rest in a savings account and in 18-24 months, spend it on something bigger and better. You'll be glad you did. :)
 
i dont believe that you won something ;) it's probably another joke and childish thread like you did with tattoos one :P but get a corsa pimp it lover it paint it green with redstripes dont forget to add m3 badge on the back ohh plus put 20 cheap subs from halfords and some neons under the car... you might need some stupid sounding company rims... hmm what else.. make sure your interior differens from cars colour.. best would be to get bucket seats and spray paint them so they give you more HP... you can also install airfilter on your exhoust so it gives another 20bhp... thats what i would get ;) no joke..
