OMG that's ghastly

It doesnt look TOO bad...but its the amount thats been spent / being asked for it that makes it ridiculous...

Wouldn't go so far as to say it's ghastly.. I might change the rear lights and the seats but other than that I would say it was quite alright.

Still way over priced though.

The guy is obviously a nut job for the simple fact that he has spent that money on a mini of all cars. Its not surprising that he is also deluded as to its value.

I'm not a fan of the bonnet, but it looks like it's more functional than anything, would change the rear lights too, I don't like the big pricetag either, but apart from that I don't mind that at all.

it looks like its been professionally done and not a bodge job but at the end of the day its an old car they've tried to make modern, should have just restored it.

High price to attract genuine buyers who are looking for a car exactly like that one. The owner is obviously attached to it, maybe a first car/project, but sounds like hasn't the enthusiasm to keep showing it like he used to.

I like the look of it personally. It isn't worth 15k to me though.

If that's a real 117bhp at the wheels that'll be one of the fastest A-series minis out there! will be pushing close to 200bhp/ton with that.

i do not agree with the ops post staing the car is fugly

minis have a huge following and that is quite a clean example allbeit heavily modified

the seller will probably end up selling at one of the many mini shows though is unlikely to meet anywhere near his asking price.

i personally prefer the classic look of a restored mkII or mkIII

I read the listing as it was modified when it was brand new in the 80s ? If so, might be worth something to someone who loved minis and read the article back then as a teen or something ?
