Whats your car worth?

Have to log in / pay for mine but I think we had a similar thread before and it came out at £3k.

Parkers is garbage.

Just checked out the Elise and apparently it's worth

Private Good £13,355

I'd love to try and find one for that much, cheapest I've seen is £16,500 and that's got 3 x the mileage of mine.

You trying to justify how much you paid ? :p

I reckon mine is worth about as much as a pack of fags, but it still rocks and more solid than a bunker :D

Probably about £1200 tops. It's in good condition but the lack of a service history will probably mean I would have to sell it for less.

Parkers is just random prices in some cases. Realistically for us;

Omega Estate 2.0 - £700
Omega Saloon 2.0 - £~100 until fixed then roughly £450
Omega Saloon 2.5 - £600 currently being sold at that price
Vectra Hatch 1.8 - £~300 full mot however car sucks in general

Original Price in 2002 £19,430 (about 21k with the options on mine)
Franchised Dealer £3,485
Independent Dealer £3,260
Private Good £2,450
Private Poor £1,305
Part Exchange £1,615

Paid £2250 for it on tuesday from a dealer in mint condition.

Ya

That's the most expensive on AT right now (5 pages of results), the rest trickle down so like I said, between 7.5-9.9 average!

They are not 'selling' on Autotrader they are advertised on Autotrader. Just because you blindly walk into showrooms and pay sticker price doesn't mean everyone else does :p

Well of course not, but where else am I supposed to see how much my car is worth other than looking at a place that lists people selling them at similar prices? :p
