Good online multiplayer games

This has probably already been posted sorry if it has but I need advice on some good online multiplayer games. Just got 3 month of xbox live to try it out.

Like Football? If so, I'd recommend Fifa '09 or PES depending on which you prefer.

Can recommend Cod4 too, simple but brilliant.

Dont like football games....i was thinking cod4 but i dont know if its my kinda thing tbh i dont even know if live is for me or not.

I like racing games and fps....

Battlefield Bad Company is pretty good online, feels a lot like the classic PC versions of Battlefield and not like some bodge job like Battlefield Modern Combat was. It's got that proper BF feel to it, plus the sound effects are great!

Gears of War 2 is pretty fun online with a few friends too, Wingman is great fun with a buddy!

If you like shooters Cod4 is a must. Bad company is great aswell.
