Was his release clause not lower?!? I got him for 40m in season 2, can't remember if that was release clause or not.

I don't know Silva is class, if you want the best left winger it's him. That isn't that much for Sakho either, considering he's one of the best centre backs in the game. Wouldn't say Ben Arfa and Alonso were worth that though, and although Zapata is class you could get him for far less.

He's my second best performer after Messi, can play almost anywhere in midfield.
Right just finished my 2011/12 season with Fulham.
Didn't come as high in the league, but i have a small squad, and injuries/fitness proved a trouble.

Unbelievably good this season. Even when Dubois was out (for quite a while) he was doing well as a lone striker and with a young striker.

Had an absolute stormer after coming back from a long term injury, and scored a shed load.
Oh yes

And for good measure;
Average squad age is 22, with over half of my team under 24, and 5 over 30 (got replacements).
Overall a great season for me.
Signings for the season, all of which the youngsters have potential to be better than the positions they play (even Bojan).
Only £3.7m spent on those aged 20+!

I am only in my 3rd season with Hull. Doing ok but no way near winning the league yet.
I have had some awesome players in Marquinhos (who I sold for £30m odd) and Keirrison. Both awesome players.

Just bought the game after returning it because i couldnt activate it, then heard of all the bugs.. i was trying to wait until Jan Xfer window closed but i couldnt resist any more.
I decided to start with Aston Villa (i dont really support a team, i just dont like Chelski after José left lol). I feel Villa's attributes need to be beefed up a lil more tbh... £5m transfer funds
Transfers In:
Nelson Rivas (waiting on permit fingers crossed - HE IS A BEAST wasting away in Inter's reserves)
Bosko Jankovic
Veloso - Sporting CP seem to be in some cash problems?
Andre Bikey - he was my fav in FM08 @ reading rock solid hopefully he can do the job for villa too & doubling up as DR.
