Non-Christians have no morals

Believing in fairy tales gives you morals?

That's also doing it a diservice, the bible can be used as a very good historical book, you just have to realise that the storys have been exaggerated or told in a local sense like the great flood. It wasn't world wide but it did happen. Or soddom and Gamora which was burnt by a meteor.

Also rubbish, there are plenty of people taking up religion who have never been taught it.

Its just my opinion on it, might not be correct :)

Where does one buy these High Horses?

a lot of people seem to be on them these days but I can't for the life of me see a valid reason why....

His is pretty high up tbh!

Give your house mate a slap from me

Hes pretty big, and I honestly think would kill me with all his pent up sexual frustration if I did that!

If he's Christian just slap him then instantly shout 'Forgive me!'

Solved

Also surely his vastly superior morals would stop him from retailiating

Ahh, but if you're after morals, don't read the old testament.

This man speaks the truth :)
But the bits about "god" could be convinced as fairy tails I think

I only believe in what I see, I believe there may well have been a Jesus, however a book written 2000 years ago by people of an age that was quite simply barbaric does not prove that he is the son of god. To me it just proves that people from that era were ill informed, uneducated and tended to believe in mystical/magical answers to things they could not possibly understand.

I find it quite entertaining that a race of human beings that claims to be enlightened and intellectual, still puts its faith in things that were written by people who were still walking around in robes, living in mud huts and travelling around by donkey...

It’s like being taught about the birds and the bee's by a seven year old and believing what they say for the remainder of your life, regardless of the facts laid out in front of you.

As far as morality goes well, although modern day Christians may well have an air of morality about them, can the same be said for the Christians of yesteryear? Is it ok to follow a religion that used to believe in stoning of people they believed to be sinners? I for one will not follow a religion that has a morally unsound past, no matter how morally just and virtuous they may be today. That is why I simply wish to remain un-bias and not get involved in a world of religion. If that makes me unmoral then so be-it, but I’m not the one shagging my 11 year old choir boys on a Sunday morning and stating it’s all in the name of “Love” ;)

)

But know you're getting confused between religion and denomination. Two totally different things.

Depends what your mate means, you can't have absolutely morality without some kind of divine authority. However you can have subjective morality, but that just means what standards people choose to live there lives by, so someone's morals could be totally immoral to another.

Christians have no authority to comment on morals, well no more than the rest of us who are of sound mind.

The majority of the population of the world have morality hard coded into their brain as proven by Marc Hauser. Religions just claim to have superior morals.
