Wimpy burger

Whatever happened to wimpy burger? I was sat in college today wasting time just thinking, i haven't been to one since i was like 10 and i remember them being pretty damn good.
Has anyone seen any about lately, i know the ones in cirencester and bournemouth (the two i knew) were closed.

Yep there's one where I live. Never been in it though. Is it any better than McDonald's/Burger King?

It is probably a victim of not being fast enough though. I saw a wimpy at a service station a month back and although the bugger was the best fast food one I have ever had, it took ages to get it as they cook it per customer. A queue of 5 people meant I was waiting half an hour. :/

I popped in for a burger or three when I was on the M6 - although it was very nice it wasn't quite as nice as the sit-in diner. For some reason I just love the half pounders. I don't even know what it is about them I like so much.

Can't beat a good fast food bugger

Wimpey as I remember is more of a sit down, food to the table experience. Much like a Cafe meets McDonalds experience. It was tasty from memory though!
