I had a takeaway yesterday but because of a current gastric reflux problem I had difficulty eating a significant amount of it. I shoved it in the fridge for overnight. Now I'm wondering, as with a lot of hot foods, is it safe to just bung it in the microwave for five minutes and carry on eating it? Only reason I'm asking is that curry is different to the foods I typically put away and eat later on, such as roast dinners and the like.

I usually have leftover curry on toast the next morning, especially jalfrezi - it marinates for longer and tastes lovely :) Never had any problems.

Definitely. It always tastes better the next day. However..... cold curry..... curry on toast...... are you boys avvin a larf ????

Edit: Curry Sandwich???? OMG what's wrong with you people

Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. Is it wise to eat curry if you have a gastric reflux problem?

Probably not, but we can't really advise the OP on that anyway.

Nothing wrong with reheating a curry, just make sure you nuke it to be on the safe side.

Yeah, the gastric reflux thing is a bit of a problem, but I have to eat *something*. There isn't anything else about, me being the poor person that I am. I'll just bung it in the microwave then. Wish me luck and pray that I don't die. :p

Oh it's worth noting that the longer you leave the rice to stand before sticking it in the fridge, the more likely you are to get food poisoning when you eat it later. That's regardless of reheating.

eaten all the rice though so having bradwith it :(

Sounds kinky.
