Eating last night's curry?

3 mins in the microslave (youtube that for a laugh :p)

and you're laughing

i'm missing my large intestine the 3 mins rule never phases me :)

Like everything left over from the night before it should be eaten cold between two slice of brea, nom nom nom nom!!

Just ate the lot, was actually really nice. Rice included, so I hope I don't fall over dead all of a sudden! Gulped a mouthful of water each time, went down easy. (the condition is gerd, one of the most painful experiences I've been through in a while)

I've heard that reheating takeaway rice is a no-no.

It's only if it's been left to stand for about 1 hour that it's a problem. The trouble is that it's probably already been reheated at the restaurant.

As I say so long as you store it properly it's not a problem.

I usually have leftover curry on toast the next morning, especially jalfrezi - it marinates for longer and tastes lovely :) Never had any problems.

Same here, I love cold curry for breakfast. I am a vegetarian, so its a lot safer I guess.. but never have any issues keeping curries for weeks.

Youre meant to with some.

wow

i cant believe the OCUKs famous ZOMG DO NOT EAT REHEATED RICE!!!!!111!!!!11 brigade have not been in here. surely a first ?

maybe they have seen sense ?

I love last nights curry. Sometimes there are side dishes left over, so i just throw them altogether and heat it up, lovely.

A lot of Indian restaraunts pre-cook the rice then make up individual rice portions sitting in little baggies ready to throw into the microwave as and when required. Usually they sit out in the kitchen all night. I've worked in a fair few places when i was going through uni and it's quite a frequent thing.
