the last two series of Red Dwarf were woeful, the first few were very very good but the humour for me hasn't aged to well. I have good memories from my first impression of the show but I can't rewatch it without cringing at a lot of it.

But same as Only Fools and Horses which was woeful at the end due and came back for a simply terrible special, as with all of the old shows come back to be more embarassing than ever.

Chances it will be good are almost non existant. I doubt listers time on Takeshi's Castle has really improved his acting over the years, likewise everyone else went on to be crap afterwards.
 
I thought they forgot abot airing this as it was meant to be on at christmas, My favorite Comedy show, Lets hope its a good'n :D!!!
 
As many people have already said, 7 and 8 were dreadful and badly tarnished the Red Dwarf image. Shame because 1-6 are in as good as any other comedy out there, Blackadder included.

There'll be a fight if they bring that Kochanski bird back - she was woeful.
