Jonathan Ross bad joke again...

It's time for anything remotely funny/decent on the BBC to move somewhere else. Clearly the BBC audience are far too sheltered and broken to handle anything other than The National Lottery with a sprinkling of Eastenders.

I don't find the joke funny but people need to get off the OMG!!! bandwagon. :(

i remember reading this on Sunday on Ceefax, and it says then BBC actually had no complaints from the public.

It's just the tabloid picking on him, nothing more, trying to sell papers since the last headline did so well.

With the Sachs thing there were only a handful of complaints at the time of broadcast, which increased rapidly once people knew they might be offended if they listened to it, so listened to it.

Someone made a good comparison to the people that complain about the bad language in a programme, after the programme has had a warning about it at the start.

he can say whatever he likes, she's not going to remember

Winner! Another wonderful non story which as already mentioned is just the tabloids trying to stir things up as per normal. Was reading about it in one of the Saturday papers where they were foaming at the mouths like rabid hamsters and found it highly amusing. Im not sure how they can print a direct quote of what he said and then also print nonsensicle tosh which people actually believe and then jump on the Ross is a moron bandwagon.

Seen something in the Sunday papers about him and chose not to read it as I can't stand "The Sun" his Friday Night with Jonathan Ross show is always really good and funny and I've missed it not being on. I watched his show on Friday and it was as good as ever. Shame he wasn't on 1-2weeks ago so could have had Will Smith on.

The complaints = bad thing
Fact that JR might actually get fed up or be forced off the airwaves = good thing

Such conflicting emotions

I wish people would stop jumping on the bandwagon, theres nothing wrong with what he said, it's a joke. Some people need to lighten up.

Seems like people seem to take offence to everything these days. :/

They are all miserable because they aint being given credit to buy things they cant afford anymore. Im sure if they had a new plasma TV and surround sound system at 35.9% APR they would be a lot more open to jokes like this.

Is it actually a sex joke? It doesn't look it to me.

"I think you should just, for charity, give her one last night. One last night before the grave. Would it kill you?"

The grammar is not correct if what he is saying is to "give her one".

I think what he was saying is that he should give her a kiss. Because, if you read the actual transcript, the elderly woman was attempting to give this guy a kiss herself.

The only thing there that could be construed as offensive is the "before the grave" part. But that is hardly uncommon.

Edit: Danny said it better than me! :p

They really should leave the guy alone, he's done nothing wrong.
