Yeah he's not had a great deal to save during this spell because the players ahead of him have done their jobs well. But still, he's pulled out a few good saves when needed. The record is more a team effort anyway, although we've just beaten the record, it will be a while before any keeper beats Cech's clean sheet records for a single season. VDS could do it this season, but knowing us Everton will score against us. :p
 
How many clean sheets did Cech get? I know that since Reina's joined us he's won the golden gloves every season and iinm he's top again this season.
 
Cech got 25 clean sheets in 2004/05.

VDS is on 17 clean sheets this season out of the 21 games he has played. (Actually maybe 16 will be the count seeing as he didn't finish one of those games).
Reina has 13 clean sheets from 23 games this season.

This is where Arsene analyses last night's game and realises that he desperately needs creativity and also a good CM, so offers Arshavin a good deal and then rushes off to buy another world class midfielder, right? :(

Well can only live in hope. Veloso seems like a nice choice but to be honest a DC would be my preferred choice or DM.

We looked so average last night. Apart from RVP who if can stay away from injury could become the player that we all know he can. CLASS!

SSN do it on purpose. When a club is signing a striker they will always show him missing.

Veloso plays both DC and DM. He would be a very good player for you.
 
If Veloso goes to Bolton and Wenger doesn't even try make a move for him...

I agree with Nokkon, I think he'd be great for them.

If Newcastle lose Given they'll get relegated, if they haven't been before.

Still, they've always really only been a lower half premier/top half first division team.
 
Well more great news from Newcastle today

Barton done his foot in, out for min 8 weeks, owen broken ankle bone, out for min of 10 weeks, Given pretty much sold

WE HAVE NO TEAM

NO PLAYERS IN, No MONEY

NO HOPE
