Bit of a mare last night.
There I was gaming when I notice a puddle of liquid underneath the PC. I shut the thing down at the wall and had a look. I couldn't see any obvious leaks anywhere, so put the PC back on to see where it was coming from. I looked like it was from the GPU block.
So I tried stipping the Watercooling block off and I forgot to plug one of the holes up so ended up with it all over my motherboard.
Cleaned it all out, and inspected further. Turned out that the rubber seal on the GPU block had persished. So I put the stock cooler back on, flushed out the system and went CPU only under water. The insides of the tubsd are rather dirty so I think I'll either clean them out or get new ones.
Strated the PC when back together (this is getting on for 1 ish now with a half 6 start) and it just sat there laughing at me. Tried all sorts, CMOS reset etc. Gave up in the end and went to bed. Put it on this morning and it POSTs, boots into windows and then some more issues started. My screen res was down, and a load of errors came up.
Rebooted and then I'm presented with a box saying Windows isn't activated and it gives me limited access.
Will have another play later on today including stripping everything out and then followed by what looks like another rebuild of the OS.
Not happy.
