what are all these glitches then? cheats?
Yes, they are places in some maps where you can get out under the map. Maps are Roundhouse Castle & Seelow. Also in Makin you can get into a rock.
Yep, getting annoying, although I get a lot of kills on people trying to get in the glitchdoes anyone else find there to be tons more glitchers lately?especially on roundhouse
I had to quit a CTF match last night as I was the only one going for the flag, the rest of my team were trying to get in the glitch
(it's time like that I wish you could speak to the other team)

God damn this game is hard on veteran! Much harder than cod4 on veteran IMO. Almost done though
I gave up on Vet after the first level, I just can't be bothered. Not helped by it being WW2 based - stupid annoying rubbish guns. I did all of COD4 on Vet except Mile High Club, but this one is just too much. Vet is harder than real war!
In fact I hate this game now

World at War in no way compares to Modern Warfare, once again we are let down by Treyarch, i think the call of duty franchise should just be left to infinity ward... Only reason i really play world at war is because im bored of modern warfare :/.
I've just started playing cod5 online (team deathmatch). Never played multiplayer on anything before apart from racing sims. Christ almighty, how in the name of god are people getting a higher kill rate than death rate? I don't know if it's just me but the only way I can kill is if somebody is kind enough to keep still while I pump bullets into them for an hour or two. Yet I'm dead with 1 or 2 absolutely perfect shots every bloody time. What's the secret? I like to think I'm fairly normal but it would appear that apart from myself the entire gaming community has the reactions/dexterity of spiderman. Is this how all TDM's are?

I have just 1000/1000'd this game. Had a few games of WAW earlier due to the double XP
Thanks Simon, I wish that was the case but I reckon I'm just not cut out for this kind of thing. Even if I was any good I don't think I could enjoy it for more than a day or two because these deathmatch things are a bit primative. At least single players have a kind of cinematic feel to them. It does seem a shame though, a lot of gaming budgets are spent on multiplayers so for every game I buy I'm wasting a fair chunk on something which I find bit crap. Having said that, I do like online racing sims which I suppose are also fairly primative.

I have really got back into this recently, now i have all the weapons and scoped unlocked I don't think there is much in it between 4 and 5 in terms of HCTDM.
Yea the respawning positions suck and yea the Lag makes normal game modes really frustrating but Hard Core is fine and the change in maps and weapons means I have begun to really enjoy this just as much as COD4.
I find I don't play for long unless there are a couple of people I know online but I don't play COD4 at all unless there is a good party on

WAW is nothing compared to modern warfare!.. hopefully modern warfare 2 is as good a hit!
5magics, if its the 1st time you've played online then dont really worry about your kill rate, it takes weeks to learn the maps, guns and get used to playing online in general.. ive been playing WAW online for about a month and im still lame online.. just takes time.
