Because Jenas is a very good player who does a lot of the unsung things very well. I can't believe some Spurs fans still don't get what he does for the team, though most of the haters have realized by now.
 
Quaresma on his day can be a world beater. His mentality is similar to Drogba and he'll take a tumble whenever someone touches him. Cracking player and I think he could do Liverpool a job on the right hand side. Does anybody know how much Inter signed him for? Sending him out on loan after one season doesn't sound to logical?

On September 1, 2008 Quaresma signed for Inter Milan on a reported cash/player exchange fee of €18.6m with young Portugese midfielder Pelé joining F.C. Porto.

edit: don't think it's been mentioned yet. We've confirmed that we're allowing Keane to talk with Spurs but we haven't agreed a deal with them yet.

Do you think they have anyone else lined up? Talks of Saviola from Real Madrid on loan. Havn't seen him play at all this season. Take the 18-19£ million from Spurs and send it straight to Wigan for Valencia.

No idea tbh. Would like to think so but even if we don't it wouldn't make that much difference as Keane seemingly doesn't feature that highly in Rafa's plans.

I know some people aren't too happy at the idea of Lennon coming in but i wouldn't mind it tbh. At least we'd have a natural right winger in the squad which would then allow the likes of Benayoun, Babel and Kuyt to play in the centre if needed.

Doesn't Saviola play almost the same position as Keane? Haha, that would be great if they signed another similar, quality player, and did nothing with him.

I honestly can't believe Tottenham are going to get away with being given £5m for a six-month loan of Keane. That's ridiculous.
 
People are slagging Lennon left, right and center in here. Now I'm sure those of you who cast your mind back know I have been rather damning of him even when he was the future prospect of England, but this season some of his performances have been brilliant.

Sure, he may still run like a total tit and prance like a faerie, but he is starting to develop more of a final product and he's quick enough and able to get in the box around wing-backs which obviously adds the danger of conceeding a penalty, so he does have a lot of plusses to his game and he'd definitely be a major improvement for Liverpool because as much as Kuyt works he isn't needed to work as Liverpool already play two defensive midfielders as it is.
 
What are liverpool playing at; letting keane go is as good as giving the premiership away. Having NO cover for torres is suicide; i cant see torres lasting the whole season injury free; his hamstrings have already been battered already, and no doubt will happen again..just like what happened with owen. Torres is going to have to lose a bit of pace to keep his hamstrings intact. and when he is injured we will have NGOG to replace him! WTF are you playing at rafa!! If we are going to challenge we need a good squad, not rejects from french teams who never cut the mustard in france!

Very irritating indeed.
