Ive never been too keen on him, he is too small to partner with Murphy now, and he hasn't really got the head on him to do good passes. Hes just had a long injury, so loaning him out was a good idea.

Nah, i think he'll be a great signing. Hes still quality, and if hes as good as he has been he'll play first team, hes a completely different player than we have, a full defensive midfielder.

Omozusi is great to have been recalled, very good player.

Just hope we do sign that striker, or any striker, to rotate tbh.

We only have one left winger in Gray now, though. But i guess we couldn't drop Dempsey, or Davies.

Other good news is that Murphy has signed a contract extension.
 
SKY Italia are reporting that Quaresma has joined.
I don't know much about him but he apparently has a lot of flair and just doesn't know how to use it often enough, I'd be delighted if we do get him though as we really need a change.
Our current style is predictable and far to easy to defend against, Inter owe us a few loan deals too:)

He's an incredibly talented player but has a massive attitude problem. In terms of style he's fairly similar to Joe Cole.
 
We pay Eboue's wages but won't stump up £2.5m for Arshavin? Without some sort of miracle there's no way we'll get into the CL :(
 
Grr, what is going on? This isn't funny at all. The Ashley Cole affair was, we had a decent squad at the time and were going somewhere. FFS, this is serious **** dawgs...
 
WEll considering we're looking to buy Arshavin for, the right side, and Theo's supposed to be a month away from return and Fabregas and Rosicky two months away. Thats theo, Rosicky, Nasri all for two places anyway, with Eboue, Wilshire, ramsey(ish), Vela, Eduardo all as backup wingers. Signing Arshavin is lunacy, pure insanity. 15mil for a player who can play all the positions we have covered. I wouldn't mind if we were buying him as a striker, but then again, we've got what Ade who he won't drop, RVP who is the best player in the squad by a mile right now, Vela, Bendtner, Eduardo, Theo. Unless he will finally drop Ade and looks to sell him in the summer then I see no way he will fit into the current squad, and he's completely unproven in a top league.

Not to mention the way Wenger bloods foreign players, in his slow ass no matter how good they are they won't start more than 3 game in the first 6 months, by which time everyone injured will have long since been back, I just can't see it.

Agreed...i have always wanted Quaresma at anfield, need some creativity on the wings..on loan would have been perfect but hey ho we have the best winger in the world , dirk kuyt!

Rafa really has lost the plot (and im happy to be proven wrong!), but this is insane...tbh honest unless he delivers the league/CL i think the fans might start to turn on him

exactly, all this effort over someone, well, thats simply not proven. The worst thing is, he can be brilliant, set up goals, and score a few, but it won't matter, its not going to improve the squad significantly long term, just for a couple months and he's not going to fix the actual problem this squad has, holding midfielders who are hopelessly lacking against every semi decent team in the league.
 
Nice bit of business for spurs, 4million profit for a half season loan is impressive! It'll be a bummer for Arsenal fans if they don't get Arshavin though i still don't think he's what they need.
