its not false, look it up yourself. I don't care then anyway, I'm no more likely to bin a triumph than anything else, and that argument wouldn't deter me if it was true. I'm young and 17, I'm willing to take "risks"" like that.
That comment alone shows you know absolutely nothing when it comes to car dynamics. Do you not realise how bad the rear axle is on the Spitfire? Yes it may only have 70bhp but the axle the power is coming through is useless. They are horrid for snap oversteer going round corners. I know what the Dolomite handling could be like at times and the suspension setup on that is vastly superior compared to a Spitfire.
I hope Mattius doesn't mind me posting this pic. He had an accident in his Spitfire a while ago, this one had side impact bars. The accident happened at 30mph.
