FA Cup Replays - 4/2/08 **spoilers*

to be fair both top scorers last season are struggling a little, both been injured to varying amounts

Gerrard potentially out for a couple of weeks - if reports that its a hamstring injury are true - could be a bigger /more immediate loss

The socks are a joke about Everton moving to Kirby. People from Kirby are known as sock robbers. Previously we've taken Tesco's bags there.

Whay are they sock robbers? Excuse my ignorance.

Two hours of boring footie and the only talking point was socks and the ITV ****-up!! haha

Whay are they sock robbers? Excuse my ignorance.

Because they steal socks off of clothes lines to put on their hands to hide their finger prints whens they're stealing cars to feed their habit! And as we are supposedly moving to Kirkby they thought it would be funny to throw socks..

The fact that most of the ***** supporters aren't even English doesn't seem to matter! :)

If Lucas plays for Liverpool again I'm calling for raffa's head. It's been obvious he's not been up to the job for ages, yet he still plays him, and he keeps making crucial mistakes in important games. I also don't understand why we sold Risse for £4m to buy Dossena for £7m. It got to be the worst piece of business in football history, even worse than the Keane fiasco.

Struggling? 8 goals in 17 starts. Thats pretty impressive even disregarding the fact that he's been injured on 3 seperate occasions this season. Once he has a run in the side the goals will be flying in again.

How many of those goals where in the same game and who against out of curiousity. I've seen quite a few games this year with him that have him not even causing much trouble with the defenders having him out of the game.

Of course he's a great player, just everytime I've seen him this year I've been left dissapointed. I think the rigours of the premiership are taking it's toll.

erm, he scored 2 against everton and 2 aganst man city didn't he? oh and that goal at sunderland. heh then again at chelsea as well.

I hope to never see Lucas play in a liverpool shirt again. That's two costly mistakes, the penalty at Wigan was criminal.

Very poor game of football.

Can a Liverpool fan tell me why Lucas is starting over Mash ?

I don't think Lucas is up to Premier league standards, Mash however is a quality player.

Your entire team were awful last night, I don't like the abuse that Lucas is getting on other forums. He was no worse then the rest of the team.

After Gerrard went off, that was it.
Torres looked tired/injured, and playing the long ball up to him clearly wasn't working.

Everton weren't playing well either, but they did get the ball down and pass.

Same can be said for kuyt.

Except that if you stick a pole in the ground and tie kuyt to it with a rope he will run around in circles for 90 minutes without fail..... This means he is a fantastic player who:

"works a lot"

.........Class player, he could walk straight into top teams such as manu, arsenal, chelski, couldn`t he?

At the end of the day its fatmans choice.

Rafa Benitez said:
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has major injury concerns over skipper Steven Gerrard.

Liverpool lost Gerrard early into last night's FA Cup defeat at Everton with a hamstring injury.

He will not play at Portsmouth on Saturday, and is almost certainly out of England's friendly next Wednesday against Spain in Seville.

Boss Rafael Benitez said: "Steven Gerrard will have a scan tomorrow to see the extent of the injury, we do not really know yet.

"Steven was tired, and he gets injured. He was tired, too, at Wigan but when I took him off there everyone was saying he had to play every single minute of every match. Now you have seen the consequences.

"He asked to be taken off, you could see at Wigan he was struggling and the same thing happened here."
Interesting, he has a comment at the people who slated him for taking Gerrard off because he was "tired" trying to defend himself clearly oblivious to the fact that Gerrard got injured playing the next game where Rafa started him anyway.

The man makes me laugh, I absolutely love him. I swear he's Kiddo in disguise.

This will either be verified or not in the next few weeks, as Gerrard is out for three weeks according to the BBC therefore missing Pompey away this weekend, (Int vs Spain), Man City @Anfield and possibly visit of Real Madrid on 25th
