24 : Day 7

Awesome 7th series so far
was reading today in the paper though that the show might get axed after the 7th series or the 8th and rather turn it into a film version instead..
 
yea, well Kifer is not going to sign for Season 9 and they were sayin that Season 8 may get the cann half way trough...?

well it didnt take down the african guy, which you wouldnt know unless you watched the extended version of redemption, i'd presumed it was a different character in day 7, not sure why they'd kill him off as far as the normal viewer is concerned and then immediately bring him back as the evil mastermind
 
Last nights episode was crap!
I know they need to do story fillers sometimes, but so early into the day to have a crap hour like that!!
easy take of the president, then obvious setup for the woman to get away.. thats your hours worth.

if next weeks episode is anywhere near as crap as the last 2 then im giving up on it.
i thought last week was slow, but last night was complete crap!
 
You have to remember that somtimes seasons take a while to get going. I remember season 4 simmered nicely and then just exploded at the end and was one the best endings to a season, possibly the best IMO.
 
I think its really good this year. Obviously its a pain just watching it one episode a week with adverts but I'm sure for those having doubts the watching it on DVD will be a lot better experience.
 
Where to start on this dwindling series. Well after episode 7 I really hope it picks up a bit. The show moves to fast and I'm so sick of hearing about a CIP device and President Motobo. Damn can the CIP Device overide a good old fashioned power off at the mains ??? I think not.

24 used to be about suspense and build up. The past two series I have not cared about any of the characters because their too busy opening ports for a NEW secure line !!! The story and acting seems so forced and fake. What has happened to this show or maybe I'm looking back with rose tinted specs. Maybe I should watch series one again with deep characters and storylines like Nina Myers.

There is just no development whatsoever. Anyone feel the same? This show is now geared to short attenion spanned idiots who like explosions.

Agreed, up to series 4 they awere amazing, then they have slowly dropped off. This one is looking good so far, so im holding hopes for it.
 
Who is directing this. Just looking back I'm thinking how bad this is all done.

The plane crash that happened I couldn't give two hoots about. They should have had some build to it. Maybe two passengers getting on a plane, having a little chitter chatter to grab our attention. Not just an explosion in the sky. Who gives a ****. Been a fan from series one and i'm feeling really frustrated with day 7.
