This is probably to promote the release of their new version of the Big Mac....."The Big C".

I've heard of Trans-fats. Its super heated fat which has denatured and which the body struggles to identify and consquently sticks to cells changing their shape. Sometimes called :http://www.westonaprice.org/knowyourfats/mono_diglycerides.html

I heard that superheated fat has the same properties as trans-fats but I am unclear at what temperature this happens. Slightly disturbing since I like a cod & chips on a Friday night, other than that I eat very good food.

One much more important thing is burned meat.

That is highly carcingenic. Which is one of the reasons why it is a myth red meat is bad for you. Only brunt red meat is bad for you!

Well anti-oxcidants are the opposite to this chemical (acrylide?) and are found in fruits and dark chocolate (found in the plant chocolate is made from and dark has more of the plant in it than milk chocolate).

Mmm, pointless government health warnings...

About the only way to cook food that doesn't produce any Acrylamide is to boil it.
