Well i bought a 360 on Friday along with GOW2 (down side is i don’t have a HDTV ..YET) But Wow Gow2 is immense!!! I’ve just finished it on easy mode! Some parts do drag on but the story and action is fantastic! Taken me some time to get used to the pad though as i hardly play games on console slowly moving over
 
Cracking game to start off with.

If you like FPS's then I recommend the Call of Duty series. The controls are excellent and they are good for getting used to the controller.

And welcome to the 360 :)
 
I have COD 4 and WaW for the PC atm , but if i can get WaW for the 360 then i shall :) (M1 Grand all the way!)

Question: I've set a pass code on my XBL account to stop my bro using my account , if its enterd wrong will it block the account ? ?
 
wow this game is really good, this is my first go on Gears 2 as I didn't have a 360 back when the game was released, so a couple of weeks ago when I saw it going for only £20 I thought I'd nab it and see what all the thus was about.

Well it was only out of boredom that I thought I'd stick it on today and boy I'm glad I did. The game thus far (check picture) is a really fun, solid, competent shooter.

I'm liking the new weapons, the hammerburst assault rifle is such an awesome gun, real satisfying to use and great fun pulling of those heads shots with it, and the boltok pistol is great also, has a real kick to it, and it has an awesome sound to it, and talking of sound the music for this game is really good as well.

Graphics are also pretty dam impressive, when I arrived in the undergrounds caves I was like :eek:, even after playing the KZ2 demo for two days straight I was suitably impressed, those caves just look crazy, so crazy I thought take a picture :).

Awesome game!! must have gone through it about 10 times by now, still love it! Multiplayer Horde is good too.
 
Loved it to bits and it quickly because one of my best 360 titles. The worm bits were :eek: Even better was the fact that the GoW Aspho Fields novel ends where GoW 2 begins :)
 
If you get the chance play through Gears 1 and 2 coop; it's here it really shines.

I found this with Halo 3 too. Single player it's not the best shooter but with 2 or 3 mates it's a complete blast.
 
I can't believe I've not bought this yet :( It'll need to be next month now as I'm skint!

I thought GOW was good and highly enjoyable but it was let down by it's shortness. I was basically messing around on it yet still managed to complete within a couple of days.

Multiplayer was terrible too, small maps, didn't enjoy it.
 
can u not hook the 360 up to your pc monitor until you get your hdtv, you should get a better res :confused:

I will agree with this.

Even playing with Kreeeee (I was stupid enough to play with him in Co-op in both games) I had a great blast.

We actually used team work in GOW2 (even in the bits you weren't forced to)

Me as well.

Never played GoW2 single player, but done it a bunch of times co-op to get all the achievements.

Co-op > single player.

Depends what you're after? RPG's are my thing so I'd firstly recommend Lost Odyssey, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Oblivion, Blue Dragon, Fallout 3 or The Last Remnant. If you like shooters you really can't go wrong with COD4, COD2, Bioshock, GRAW 1 & 2, Gears 1 & 2, Dead Space, Halo 3, The Darkness or Left 4 Dead. Other must plays are Dead Rising, Crackdown, Bully, GTA IV, Assassin's Creed, Banjo Kazooie: N&B, Mirrors Edge, PGR4, Test Drive Unlimited, Burnout: Paradise (or Revenge) or Viva Pinata.

Finally my arcade picks are: Braid, Geo Wars 2, Castle Crashers, The Maw, Boom Boom Rocket and Pac Man CE.

There's a demo for nearly everything so get downloading.
 
Cheers for the replys guys!! :) i do think that Left 4 Dead & COD world at war will be my next games .. and GOW (1) so i can catch the stroy! :P
