Shuttle X27D

Sorry if this is a noobish question. I know the Shuttle X27D has just one DIMM slot but I cant find any RAM sold as just one stick on the site, ony dual channel stuff. If I buy 2x1GB dual channel kit, could I just put one stick in and keep the other one for something else or do I need different RAM?

Looks like thats what your going to have to do, keep one module spare if needed.
As most are sold in pairs, you might need to to do a google search or try that auction site.

So I ordered the Shuttle X27D and it arrived today!
But when I unpacked it, to my suprise it only came with a USA style mains plug! Is this normal with Shuttles? What should I do about it?

Ah, you might need to email / webnote the place of purchase and see if they will send a uk plug/lead.

Do you have a spare one you can use.
