Hi, Booked my theory for 11/2/09 for the motorbike, brought a PC program that has all the tests, questions and hazard awareness tests on it so practising hard on it!

Any tips? Just hope I pass it 1st time then I can start getting my DAS lessons and then hopefully pass that and buy myself a bike.

So at 37 I decided to do it. I always fancied a bike for the nice summer days, so this year why not! Hope it all comes together.

Fair-weather rider alert !1!1

</elitist all-year attitude>

I'm assuming you've done the car theory?

If so, it's a doddle.

Yes been driving cars since 1988.
Also, yes, fair weather rider for starters, That is my idea. Granted I may get caught out in bad weather if it turns.

I have always wanted a bike.

Did mine last year with one of those cd's, did 10 mock tests and past them all, went for the real one and no probs at all. You'll be fine, its just common sense stuff.

Many thanks Cookie Monster, but I purchased the Driving Tests/All Tests DVD for the computer which should be enough I think.

but thank you for your kind offer.

Congrats :)

Miss being all weather rider, but now I live within walkable/cycleable distance from work so not much point of using a motorbike for that :(.

Well done! Got mine tomorrow.

I am suprisingly nervous, because I have already booked the DAS so really can't fail it... otherwise i am screwed!

Ok got DAS booked, week commencing 9th March and test on friday 13th March.

Doran, how did you do ?

I've got mine tomorrow. Slight confusion with the dates. I practised on the online thing and I feel confident now. Unlikely I will fail.

You DAS dates are practically the same as mine! Mine run from 6-9th March.

Everyone should do an OCUK Bike meet - that would be cool.

Meet somewhere around Bristol would be good (I am lazy :D)

Well, it seems to me that pretty much everyone is on the M4, within reason.

Somewhere like Newbury might be a good central point. If anyone else is up for it.
