Odd /annoying "PC habbits" you have?

I refuse to drag the scrollbar to navigate. I'll either use the mouswheel, middle click and drag, or hit pg up, pg down, home or end.

I also never click the Back and Forward buttons in explorer or Firefox, I only use the sidebuttons on my mouse.
 
i always close apps by double clicking the top left (from windows 3.11)

i get weird looks from my boss when i do this
 
I also have to open things in a certain order. If my taskbar doesn't say MSN, then Internet Explorer, then Skype in that exact order I'm all out of sync.

Anything else is of course far less important, and must come after Skype :p
 
use sleep mode or hibernate

saves so much time

Or both, Sleep then Hibernate after xx minutes :)

Can't really think of much that I do that I'd classify as odd or annoying, except maybe only having things open that I'm actually using. i.e. only a couple of programs or tabs at a time.
 
Highlighting text as i read it, section by section.

No idea why!

Totally the same! can't be old age I'm 19! But i just cannot read it without doing this, it so does drive others insane lol

Saving/Dumping anything and everything to the desktop.

Everything I download i save to the desktop, i think its because it is easier to find

Also i use CTRL+C to copy stuff but will always go to EDIT and click paste rather than CTRL+V

I do this at work, I have to have remote desktops, operations manager, CMD (for mstsc/console) and a CMD for everything else.


Its such a pain when 1 of the apps crashes and i have to close everything to get it how I like it.

I had this problem at work, downloaded taskbar shuffle and can now move them about my taks bar to order them myself lol.

I have between 15-20 windows open at any one time, so it would drive me crazy trying to find stuff lol.
 
I'll click n drag down to highlight text, click to un-highlight it, then click n drag up to highlight it again.....over and over and over when I'm thinking about something, annoys the missus no end :D
Also drum by tilting the mouse from side to side and with my feet all the time. I blame it on my rhythmic personality :p
 
I used to have this. I have a collection of media on a drive. Around 150gigs worth. For the past few years i've been building up a folder on that drive called 'Sort'.
Yep, although mine goes by the name of "stuff". Way back when I used to have at least 3 dozen random floppies labelled "stuff" gawd knows what was on them, probably the same thing on each! Of course CDRs got labelled "lots of stuff" :D

Cut, copy, paste, undo, CNTRL+X, +C, +V, +Z. Some old habits die hard.
No, old habits are Shift+Del,Shift+Ins & Ctrl+Ins. Never used Ctrl+X etc in my life.
