Good RTS games?

:D i still have my sizable deathwing army upstairs, terminator power! also played battlefleet gothic for quite a while as well, shame DOW was so rubbish compared to the tabletop game, DOW should have been turned based with WAY more strategy :( still that said its a stonking RTS

Its very good, but graphically very dated now. I'd think the only people still regularly playing it online are crazygood. You could probably pick it up for chump change, its worth a go even just for the single player campaigns, and to prep you for the sequel :)

Well they always said they didn't feel they could do the horde thing in the engine. Of course now they've done it in DoW 2 in a totally not horde way so who knows :rolleyes:

Still Soulstorm wasn't done by Relic so it was never going to be as awesome.
 
sup com FA is good, also the original DoW and expansions are worth a punt. I picked up the DoW box set (original + 3 expansions) from the rainforest for £15.

First off nothing truely beats Company of Heroes as the true next step into RTS (not even Starcraft 2 is going to beat it as it is just rehashed 90's code with some new units and fancy graphics).

Supreme Commander dared to move the RTS genre forward (just like CoH), it is a truely EPIC RTS in every sense of the word and so if you can run it and like RTS then Forged Alliance should be on your machine.

The only thing Forged Alliance (supcom) is missing is support from GPG.
I really hope Square Enix provide some capital for GPG to support the game after its release and GPG actually stick to the plan of releasing more units and keeping fans happy.
