That or crushed. Either way not a pleasent way to go.

But like has been said, it does appear like the front end of the car slipped under the railing, leaving just the windscreen area to take the force of the impact, which is why it didn't bounce off :(
 
I'd be interested to understand the details of the accident, if something failed, if it hit something or if the driver had a problem. Nasty stuff that.

Same here. However if something failed we are very unlikely to ever hear about what it was (from Porsche anyway). I was going to originaly say he hit some bad road such as ice, but from the pictures it looks as though the road was completely dry.
 
What sort of stupid central reservation is that for christs sake? They should just put guillotines down the middle.
 
He's folded the side bit in, it looks almost the same as ours in the UK tbh, its because the cars nose is so low and its got no structure in the roof that its gone all the way under.

Err, his car made it UNDERNEATH the reservation, which is pretty damn hard to do to the UK ones, here you tend to go through or over, not under really.
