Is it the done thing, should the best man invite the stags dad to the do?

Not sure my dad could last :p

He religiously falls asleep in front of the TV every night :D

Sure! Last two stag dos I've been on the stags Dad was there and added a fantastic dynamic to the group. Many of us had known the Dads since we were kids.

Absolutely, my Dad didn't come to my away one but was there for the local one.

My friends stag do, when I was his best man, his Dad came and was the only one who got thrown out of a club. :D

Could always invite the father-in-law to be along aswell, extra grace with the inlaws always helps!

we had both dad's at my mates and it was great, one is diabetic the other has had a quadruple bypass both are getting on a bit

both of them kept up with the paintball, karting and drinking.

My dad didn't go on either of my 2 brothers stag do's, he's old though and really wouldn't enjoy the evening or approve of some of the antics.

I invited my mates Dad to his Stag do, he said no, but then again he doesn't really drink

Like I say I doubt my Dad would have the stamina these days :p

My old man came to mine but left at around 10pm. But he was the life of the party up until then, told some great jokes. Mostly about me.

Depends what you're doing. If it's a pub where you live fine. If it's a sampling tour of Eastern European pros then I would say no.

I'd be pee'd off if you were marrying one of my daughters and you didn't invite me.
Just remember Dads have been to more stag do's than you've dipped your wick.

I invited my dad and some of his friends to mine - I drink with most of them once a month so it wasn't odd at all.

My dad was my best man too :p
