As a distributor what's the best way to except payment?

Just tell them they don't have to pay.

A Pro Forma invoice just means you have to pay up front. You don't necessarily have to go to a bank.

How can I pay up front a company in china with a proforma invoice when I am down here in the UK, obviously I would have to go down the bank?

But if I offer a proforma invoice to a retail chain the UK when I am selling them the bulk of units then they can pay me upfront say a company cheque, is that fine?

anyway please give me some positive answers, I will be away for a few days and hope when I am back you guys would have given me some positive answers and not just the usual this will never work, or you are some loser, some dreamer. It gets tired listen to that all. I am trying hard with so many ideas to make something of myself and I will continue trying till I get it right.

Many thanks in advance

You don't need to go. You can just phone and arrange an international transfer. Or you can probably pay with Paypal.

A retail chain probably won't pay pro forma by the way. You'll need to extend them at least 30 days credit but the big ones will look for 90 and have you jumping through all sorts of hoops.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say dvdbunny is actually a mod on an alternate account fuelling debate within the forum. This is getting beyond the realms of normality

Hey guys,

My latest business venture is I am going to become a distributor. When accepting payment from say a retail chain that I would be selling to, what is the best form of payment is that proforma invoice (performa invoice), bank transfer, wire transfer, company cheque

do you have a different idea each day and then post it on OCuK?

But, i'll say it again.....

GO AWAY DVDBUNNY

How about going to a company that specialises in this area and pay (oh no, i said it) for some professional advice, instead of asking theinternetz for advice.

To be perfectly honest the more you post on this forum the more I think your some sort of rogue accoujnt created as a joke.
