Thats fine, I just want to see your gear. I levelled my DK mining to 450 and went with skinning too - mainly for money making. I'm having to seriously consider switching to Jewelcrafting instead though - do you make good cash with it?
Well you can make great money with Prospecting, on my server Saronite sells for **** all but prospecting it can give Scarlet Rubys, Autumn's Glow and stuff and they sell for a nice amount.
You can make Icy Prisms too which have 2-3 blue gems inside them and if you are lucky you can get a Dragon's Eye (140g+ on my server)
The Jewelcrafting daily also gives you a JC token which lets you buy a Dragon's Eye so really that's a 140g a day daily.
But at first you will wanna save the tokens up so you can buy some designs, after about a week you can then just start buying Dragon's Eye and selling them on the AH for a nice bit.
yea I keep thinking about making my DK a JC too.
I have mining and skinning at the moment. Which is quite good for the HP and Crit Bonus but i do keep looking at them 27 strength gems and licking my lips
The only problem is my priest is a JC and I'm really not sure if i can be bothered to lvl it all over again

Can your priest not cut the gems for you?
The 27str epic ones are BOP tho arent they ? I thought only JCs could use them

They also stop working if you drop JC afaik.

Not really a lot of point in Clique imo unless you are a healer.. At which point it becomes priceless.

Think they did really well with a lot of wotlk, but theres no challenge & it's to casual now! & no cant be arsed to wait for Uldar

The patch has arrived and once again my curiosity has the better of me -
Does anyone actually have first hand experience on these and can say if they are better/worse than normal monitor use from personal opinion?

Those need specific monitors (as in you will need to buy a new monitor to use the glasses), check nVidia's web page for compatible displays, think there are only 3-4 compatible at the moment.

Got some items off my alt, that i had got made on my main.
Epic tanking helm, Geting 2h mace today. Need another 13 defence rating to be able to tank Naxx.
But i'm guna get boosted through HCs as dps for tanking gear then i can get into naxx, Currently the GM paladin has our only druid tied up for 10man sarth 3d so doesn't really leave us much of a chance to do it.
Has only tried it as a DK tank? We do have a resto druid that is getting gear just for it, but he hates tanking and is an amazing healer. Seems to be little info on it for DKs tanking it.

I run a pretty good guild on Hellfire server, and I just thought I would give my persepctive on the current state of the game..

So I have a little experience with the way content has gone over the years.
Firstly my opinion is Blizz rushed out an incomplete WOTLK to compete with Warhammer Online. Naxx is not endgame, its the Wrath equivalent of Kara with a 25 man mode.
All of this has led to a complete apathy to the game, trying to keep my guild interested anough to sign for raids has become an issue, but there is a renewed interest at last with the announcement of the Ulduar content patch.
Sarth 3D Heroic is easy mode, easier now they nerfed it, and really just depends on having guildies who can watch for voids and healers who can do their job properly, priests preferred for the saves, and Unholy DK's for self preservation.
10 Man is harder, we havent completed that yet, we wiped at 5% on last drake because people got over excited and didnt move for a lava wave, but since then we havent tried it so its just a matter of getting a group to do it.
Anyway, as things are, people are now getting excited about Ulduar, and are working their butts off to gear themselves and their alts for the fun again.
Achievemnts are a bit of a joke for the most part, a way of keeping people with no raids interested in doing something. You either respect those with high points or acknowledge they are so bored thats the best they can find to do xD
So what would I change?
Well firstly I would stop balancing classes around PVP and accept some classes will own other classes in PVP combat.
I would bring back attunements for higher level instances, make people work and achieve something other than points.
Stop epic drops in 10 man content and make them rare. Easy epics brings about apathy to improve, and lets be honest, they arent Epic, they are now uncommon, they are the greens of the lvl 80. Epic means Epic... it should be something for the cream of the server, those that make the effort.. not the masses.. (I know it sounds elitist, but I am just talking her about keeping folks motivated).
Put a "Risk" to using AoE on trash packs..
Make people properly tank and spank trash packs rather than AoE tank and AoE dps with little skill involved.
Just my random drunken collection of thoughts... probably be more when I am sober, but thought its a starter for 10

I have main tanked every boss in Naxx pre-tank weapon enchant
Now its easier, but you really wanna take 3 tanks (2 + off tank) for naxx 10
