Anyone know what this means? Was listed as the fault bucket for a bluescreen which had the message "USB_PORT.SYS", as expected the useless "event log online help" comes up with no results for it.

Try googling 'MEMORY_CORRUPTION_LARGE_64'
Gives a few results. Perhaps an issue your usb system or device drivers. Also RAM is always worth testing after BSODs.

I've tested the RAM multiple times and it passes memtest86, Windows XP was rock solid with this same setup so it leads me to think it's something vista related.

And your bias against the OS I'm sure has nothing to do with that theory. As stated by Mattf121, it's very likely to be third party drivers causing the issue.

No it's just logical deduction. I wouldn't be using it if I was biased against it, when I can have any windows os for free...

Could be the USB drivers. Have you tried reinstalling chipset drivers?

Yes, I updated to the latest drivers.

I noticed a Windows Update for USB Drivers appeared for Vista x64. Try rolling back the drivers in safe mode.
