Looking to buy a vacuum however they are loads out there and a little confused! Looking to spend up to £100 however no dysons (if they even come in to this price range!). Would like either a small one or a very light upright. Bagless or not doesnt matter as long as the bags arnt too expensive.

I know its a bit or a crappy spec me but there seem to be loads within my price bracket!

Dyson will give more sucktion, Henry is quieter out of those two :)

The baglessness of the Dyson is pretty attractive I'd have though, they're pretty simple to empty. Ours is really noisy though, I heard my mum hooving in our detached house with all the windows closed down the street from it! Nasty high pitched whine to the sound :(

Nah never a dyson again. Thank god for the international warranty though, when though 2 motors and a few other bits.

I shouldn't skim read questions, sorry :o

They do break fairly easily, belts are something that frequently goes, and of course filters. Henries are very durable! The stuff we've sucked up in the shop with him! But then they are designed for 'industrial' use :)

Buy a VAX vaccuum ... mine sounds like a helicopter taking off when you switch it on but its a good machine! it even has a mini vaccuum thing attached for stairs and stuff .. its dead cute :)

Dysons are good at what they do except you need to have a lifetime insurance plan on it once you buy one. My parents one has had several lifetime filter changes, new motor, new cyclone and also replacement hoses.

Henrys are great but dont have a beater brush thingie so arent the best on carpets. But you can buy a turbo head thing for it when ya get a bit more cash and that might upgrade it :D
