Saw this while walking through a carpark for some posh apartments this morning;

420bhp 5L V8 apparently. Looks a bit vulgar but sounds great, apparently not too slow either. Can't remember how much it's up for but it's something silly like 45k.

Good spot! Rare things they are! Less than 100 made I think.

Still about 10 or more unsold and unregistered!

That clearly doesn't look like a new one hence why I said its 'just' a 3.2 Quattro.

Looks to me like an 05-06 model.

By current car you mean the latest facelift. Up to this point (so 57 / 08 plates) the 3.2 quattro was still available in the A3 range. It was dropped when the car was facelifted due to its emissions and lack of 'green credentials'.

Its also quite possible that its turbo charged as well. IIRC there are quite a few forced induction options for the 3.2 VR6 engine.
 
Who's going to dare it though :p what if the rover driver is really stupid and backs into it!
