Hi all
Finished the last stages of the bathroom last night involving the fitting of the towel heater, shower mixer, and accessories. The old suite was a horrid green colour and the carpet on the floor became too much to bear after a few years of "spillage"
.
Here are the pics:
Came in well under budget due to January sales and "special rates" for the plastering and tiling, and we're very happy with the results. Previously had 8.5 KW electric shower, which was appalling, but this 3 bar pumped system is lovely to shower with and everything feels much fresher and cleaner.
For anyone that's interested in having a pop themselves, by far the hardest part is routing the pipe work under the floor and up the walls so that they can't be seen and are positioned correctly for the tiling. After that it's time consuming, and if you've never done anything similar yourself, allow a lot of time for trial and error.
