ever met some one famous in a weird place

Met Russ Abbott when I was on HMS Chatham. he wanted to have a look round. I'm taller than he is, which I was suprised about I always thought he was really tall.
 
I bumped into Gandalf and Doctor who in a pub.

Sounds better than Ian mckellan and sylvestor mccoy, and the pub opposite the RSC isn't that unusual a place to find them either.

I went on a safe driving course a couple of months back, you know, the ones you go on instead of getting points when you're caught speeding. Sat next to me was Alan Titchmarsh :D

Have almost been run off the the road a couple times by Sir Steve Redgrave coming down a 1 track road not far from my house,

And walked into Ulrika Johnson a few years ago, she was walking past the shop i was coming out of and neither of us were paying attention to where we were going, she was very nice about it.
 
I met Sasha Baron Cohen at the end of my parent’s road. He was asking for directions to Midsummer House which is a restaurant near where they live.

Sasha: “Is it any good?”
Me: “Have you seen the prices?”
Sasha: “Touché”

He was a nice guy.
 
I saw Gordon Brown and his wife at the cinema last night. They had been to see Valkyrie and had about 7 bodyguards with them.

I saw Grodon Brown there and Dame Judi Dench.

Also seen Patrick from Casualty, sold a phone to Quentin Wilson too.
 
The Osbournes were shopping in Waitrose and were in the checkout queue in front of us. I didn't know who they were though, my husband was star struck and did chat to them.
 
When I worked at Starbucks a few years back, Bez nicked an orange juice and ran off.

I think he must have been going through a rough patch!
 
Hardly celebrities but :

Met (briefly) Malcom McDonald and Jeff Winter at a charity football do (working on the bar).

Saw Bob Johnson (weatherman) when out hiking.

Some guy nearly ran a crowd of people (including me nad my sister) over on the pedestrian bit outside our local Asda in a black Range Rover. According to her it was Anthony(?) from Big Brother.

Sure there are some others equally as famous :p

I bet the people you want to meet all turn out to be major disappointments, either arrogant or so normal they're of no interest.

Had a chat with Obafemi Martins in a McLaren SLR by Grey Street in Newcastle. Think he was waiting to pick someone up. Albeit I was trashed and all I really did was ask him to rev the engine :D
 
Titus Bramble at a petrol station. I said "Alright Titus.. what you up to?", he said "going Dyers to play on the Playstation" in the dopeyest voice ever.
