GTA IV: The Lost amd Damned - Coming Feb 17, 2009 on Xbox LIVE

Actually started to play GTA IV again recently after having a go online with my brother. About 20% done on the story line which is actually a lot further than I thought I had got. What kind of percentage complete is the game when you finish the story line on average?

65% ish I think.

Game appears to contain one massive flaw though :(

Throughout the game (which takes place alongside Niko's story) all the bridges are open.

However they are open at times when they are shut to Niko :p

Roman says to Niko near the beginning of his story that although the bridges are blocked, you can get through, but Niko shouldn't try it because he doesn't have a visa.

However, it doesn't explain Niko's appearance in Alderney in the intro cutscene. :p

so...how do i get to play the original gta4 story? i'm only about half way through and want to play it alongside lost and the damned

(if it helps, my gta4 save is backed up to memory card)

Just start a new game and save it to a different slot, dont use the autosaves as they will overwrite each other.

Just did the crossover mission where you meet 'liz and niko. Is it me or are there different driveables in the game?

That mission ended up with me running from the building and jacking some very new looking low rider car before taking to the motorway. It was like Most Wanted all over again.

Anyone else finding it a bit meh?

Think the controls in Saints Row 2 spoiled me, they are much sharper than GTA. Shooting and walking about just feels so sluggish now, not at all how I remember when I played it originally.

I've downloaded and will start it in a bit now the Villa game has finished.

Will let you know how I get on, having only recently completed GTA4 I should have a good feel for any differences

Oh snap, I just got the email about this on my phone (I thought I seen an advert earlier about it)

Just need to get my xbox live up and running again, or fix my router for that fact!

Sluggish could be down to the fact that the lead character in this game is a slower moving, less agile character. Can certainly feel the difference flipping back and forth between the 2 games.

As for SR2 comparisons I couldn't comment as I won't let that heap of junk touch my console :p
