Signed up to retaileyes.co.uk as a mystery shopper about a month ago.
Thought I would have a look to see what it was all about and my first couple of 'mystery shops' were actually having a meal and a pint at a couple of local pubs.

You have to answer a few questions about the visit (you get a briefing PDF before you go anywhere) and then scan and upload the receipts.

They they pay you back and add anywhere between 5 and 10 quid for doing it.

You won't make money from it but you get your money back and the chance to pop out for some food.....waiting for the next mission to see if its more food and beer or proper shopping, the Mrs is hoping for proper shopping!

Not sure if anyone else is interested in trying them out, but at least they come through with the cash at the end unlike most others!

Don't do it for a living, it will never happen :D

Anyone else a mystery shopper already?

I have been doing it for Gfk NOP for about 6 months, like you say doesnt make any real money, around £70 per month. but I dont push myself, i choose what I want to do, its ok i guess.
 
@EVH - not sure what you are getting at, I haven't given you my username there and its not the same as here, so your 'I see what you did there' is pointless ;)

@mr tommo - I give all paperwork to an accountant so I would guess that he would sort that out but thanks for your ahem, concern. To be honest I don't see the odd fiver making too much of a paperwork mound for the him.

@Magic-x-uk - nope, never going to get rich but its nice getting a meal and a beer paid for :) Especially when they have the 2 meals and 2 drinks rule, Mrs comes along as well.
 
That's fine then, just seems like a lot of hassle to go through with regards keeping records and accounts for such a small amount of money.

Retaileyes do the place where I work. Unfortunatly with the removal of the bonus scheme there is now no motivation for staff to aim for high scores :/
