Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Are you guys just trying to unlock the characters? If so, the quickest/easiest way is just to set it to 1 round, and on easiest, and seth is a piece of cake then. I only bothered going through 1 player mode to unlock everyone.

From then on its 2 player mode or online :)

Still to try challenge mode.

I think what they've done is given him a 'second mode' that players will never have access to. When you beat him the first time hes like all other players in terms of difficulty and has 'normal' moves. Then in the second round he does things like pull you towards him using mavity, something you have no control over, he also dodges/cancels EVERYTHING. It's only through damage hes taken from blocking that he didn't win with a perfect.

If players had access to the moves he has in the second phase then it would be stupidly unbalanced if that puts it into perspective. It's not the AI that's the problem, its the insane moves he can do.

Outta curiosity, What difficulty you on?

Easy :(

Anybody know where to get the SF4 theme from? i have only seen the japanese version, wouldnt mind the english version too. And yes Seth is an absolute ****er. you have to knock the difficulty down to get anywhere near close to beating him.

Having played both versions (360 and PS3) i have to say the 360 looks much better, less jaggies i think.

I've seen both versions, I see no real difference at all.

No way in hell does it qualify a "much better" remark. ;) Let's say the 360 version has 1000% anti aliasing but the PS3 version has 999%. That's how small the difference is.

I found this online, not sure if its true:

Firstly, you're going to notice more jagged edges in the PlayStation 3 game, since it doesn't feature any anti-aliasing. This is in contrast to the Xbox 360's 2xAA.

PlayStation 3 suffers slightly in another area. During the close-up sequences, generally used with special moves, the PS3 game's rendering resolution drops from 720p to nearer 630p, which is then up-scaled for output.

We had a lad's night and had both 360 and PS3 versions going and the only differences are the pads (I prefer the PS3 d-pad even though the 360 is better for nearly every other game) and the PS3 version seems to take longer to load up each fight. Other than that they look and play identically as far as we could tell.

Shouldn't take longer to load up if you install the game to the hdd.
