CoolerMaster HAF932 Thread

I used to run 2 waterloops but bai eck was it expencive to buy the parts! ended up using 1 loop but a different chassis ( Mountain Mods U2UFO )

I admit Flare they are REALLY nice but stupidly expencive for next to no mod cons! But the powdercoating looks really nice and my PA120.3 fits perfectly! :D

I've just spent the past 5 minutes thinking "thats not a HAF, he has made a hell of a lot of mods to it!" xD
but..
I REALLY like what you have done there :D
What mods have you made to the case?
*jealous*
Fancy giving me present :p

No mods made really apart from hanging the pump upside down. The rest was hours of cable work to get it just perfect :D

Speaking of that, you dont happen to know where i can get some fine mesh do you?
i want to put some between the 230mm fan and and the case to filter out any dust.

@Flare: Did you need an ATX extension cable for the PSU?

I have the same PSU and was looking at getting this case, seems pretty good as a replacement for my TT Armor which doesn't seem very capable of cooling a GTX280 and Phenom.

Nope, the cable was EASILY long enough and could have been threaded from the top down.
Have a look at my build blog:

Its a very nice case. brilliant airflow, true to its name (High Air Flow)
My q6600 is being cooled by the retail heatsink and temps at idle are from 25C - 30C.
Have a look on here to see my BFG GTX 280 OC temps (scroll down for more):

Without sounding a bit "feminate" Flare ive heard using a pair of tights cut up covering the fans will act as a good filter :)

Heres mine! Waiting for warmer weather so I can paint it outside :p
These are also old pics, since then I have another loop in there for the graphics card, have mounted a 120.2 rad on the side door :D will get pics later

Thanks for that info Flare, This certainly is a stunning case imo, looks like i will be getting it.

Does the 230mm fan on the side shift much air and are 4x 120mm's gonna move much more do you think?

I noticed you temps on the GTX280 are very good for the stock cooler, mine currently idles a fair bit higher than that :)

And the highest load temp ive seen is mid 90's thanks to 3d mark Vantage and for some reason Fallout3 ???

Im not even gonna ask about this one :p
Sounds like a pretty good idea though, i think i'll give it a go.

Thanks :D

Fireskull, thats a nice setup you have there, its the kinda thing i want :D
I can't really decide on to buy all the watercooling components myself and put it together or just buy a kit because the kit seems the far cheaper option but i would preferably do it myself.

Oh and about the needing a ATX extension cable and i said it was a nice fit but not much slack, i just realised that was only because it was cable tied down, the cable was EASILY long enough and could have been threaded from the top down.
You really should get it, i dont have much experiences with cases but i can honestly say i can't really complain, the only slight niggle i have is the fact you need to take out 2 screws to take the side panels off but that doesn't really bother me.
It does shift a fair bit of air and because of the size of it the RPM doesnt need to be all that high. Cant say i've had any experience with the 4 120mm fans sorry.
Aye, they are pretty good.
I shall do a xtreme burn test in furmark to see how high the temps go :D I shall give vantage a go as well.
