I think it could be sorted quite easily - I think that is a facelift grille on a pre-facelift car, so it is probably a part which doesn't fit quite right (unless the nose cone has been updated too). Either way - getting the standard chrome and black grilles will be an improvement as I don't think the black ones work with that colour.

The M3 sunflowers are great wheels and in black can work, but again not with that colour. I'd be tempted to get them resprayed or swap them with someone for the standard 328i Sport BBSs in silver.

Angel eyes and wing mirrors are fine - I'd keep them.

Although I agree the 328 Sport is a nice car, it is a car where every time you see one they look chaved up. Unfortunately, this has fallen into the same trap. I recon an e36 with all standard parts is now a rarer site than one that hasnt had atleast one trip to Halfords...

Ditch the mirrors, wheels and lights, and it will be transformed.
 
wheels are gonna go defo. Mirrors can stay. Lights i like, it has hids fitted too, i think these require the lights to be modded? i dont know. Grills - hmm youve got me thinking now, chrome might break up the front end a bit but the grill would work well with smoked indicators:)
 
I don't actually mind most of the non standard bits, just they don't go with the dark blue paintwork at all. It'd go if it was black or silver maybe.

Couldn't agree more, would love one of these as my next car. The 17" BBS rims are easily the best looking wheels on the e36 imo. These cars look fantastic in standard condition. Hard to find them in good nick like that though.
 
Wheels don't look that bad in that pic tbh.

Main thing I'd change is the grill, but tbh I didn't even notice it until somebody else said, but now I know it'd just annoy me because it looks wrong.
 
Im not a major fan (im not into BM's anyway), but it looks far better in those pics than the first.
 
you know apart from the grill and the wheels, i reallly like that! but the second you turn them headlights on i wont lol

Not exactly Bristol, but Renowheel in Bridgend did a bloody good job on my Momo Sport alloys which had been badly painted black, curbed and one of them was the victim of a pothole and was both slightly oval and had the inside edge bent inwards by about half an inch.

Well, I say that, they haven't been put back on a car yet, so I can't confirm that they made the oval one round again until next week.

Took them about a week to do it though, so you'll need to stand the BMW on bricks in the meantime :)
 
Rust is being sorted in summer along with a few stonechips. I've got some 17" bbs sports waiting for cash or get some LM reps. As I said earlier the headlights are modded with hids so not worth changing:)
