On a house clearance today, was told to bin everything and keep anything i thought could be sold. I found this Rolex, my suspicions are that its a blatant fake but it'd be a damn shame to bin it if it wasn't !

Gold looks abit too scratched to be real, I'm asuming the real deal wouldn't be suseptable to such minor marks ;)

The "winder" looks worn down in a way that it shouldn't on real rolex...

Theres many sites you can find with an easy google that should give you a fairly good idea if its real or not.

Screaming FAKE, the hour and minute hands look funny, bezel is different and notice the middle line on the bracelet. Easiest way to tell a watch real or fake is by the feel of bracelet, that looks like a lump of cheap copper.

Fake or real, this watch is only good for getting to a drive-by on time then if the bullets missed, use it to finish the job (by bashing it on the head or face of the concerned victim).

Thanks, straight in the bin for this then !

I think it's going to be hard telling for sure without having it in hand. Can't you just take it to a jewelers whilst you're in town one day. It should only take a couple of minutes to give you an answer, and if it's real well worth the effort.

Without a closer inspection I wouldn't want to say either way... it looks cheap and tacky and theres a few things that are quite badly worn even for an older rolex but I still wouldn't bet on it either way.

any pics of the back ? or even better just pry the back off and take a look inside

and to be fair the replica sites sell that model for whats still a fair bit of cash.better than nothing anyway

Sheesh, don't be going on the words of a few people here based on a pretty poor picture. Get it checked out properly, it'll take a few seconds and it could be worth thousands if it's real.

I'm amazed by the comments saying it can't be real because it's in poor condition. Things do wear out and get damaged, just because it's a bit dented doesn't make it a fake.
