Actually I was counting the games bud :p it was definitely more than 15+ games to your 4 or so But I'm not trying to gloat honestly :D there were some close games and thats why I am not satisfied with my performance, you are the dogs balls and Im sure you will kick my ass if you continue improving the way you are.

I did notice your messabouts at one point with the focus attack. (As did I at some points).

And infact, some games I lost, because I got peeved off not doing many combos and decided to mix it up and get in there. I wasnt able to pull off many.

I will definitely need to look at this EX cancelling since I have never used it before you were able to pull off some awesome combos using it.

But for now.. for today.. you will not get past my flash kick :D

(Btw did you know Ken and Guile are brothers in law? I didnt know that!)

look into the trials mate, the hard trials all have various combos involving EX cancelling into ultras.
 
I am doing the hard trials with Guile now but I havent come across a EX cancel.
I have seen a flash kick cancelled into a super.
Mind you I have also cancelled an EX into a super myself (but that wasnt from the trials).

Apparently when I got beat by Ken in Arcade mode, the post match comment was something like "How am I going to explain to Eliza I beat up her brother in law or something".

I have to say, skippi your dam good with big Zangief, he's only good at close range so you can defeat him at distance with aerial assaults and a few fireballs thrown in :p

Got my ass kicked by Cavallino, totally not used to guiles camping style of fighting, definitely need to practise on timing.

Yep, I'm easily caught out by leg sweeps, uppercuts and projectiles like Hadoukens, so if I find I keep getting beaten this way by someone, I change to Ryu, although I've spent the last hour training with Gen and FeiLong.

I'd say I have 6 characters learnt well now. :)

and once gief is close just get the hell out. i realised i was stupid for trying to stay close and combo like i do vs other chars... just ate piledrivers all day.
 
i wonder why we only get 3 bar between us tho skippi, thats a shame :(. ill be on around 1am ish if you're still around :D
 
i havent seen a 5 bar connection yet either though i get 4 bar with most ocuk people. 4 bar seems near perfect anyway, especially compared to 4/5 on the likes of soul calibur or even 3/3 bar on tekken! i think they did really well with the netcode

I am getting my rear handed to me online in ranked games now. I got up to 800 points and now I am sitting at around 400. :(

I wish there was a filter for arcade sticks and ds3 pads.

Nice one! Though i'm puzzled, i've played like 30 ranked matches and i'm still sat on 0Bp, i know you usually end up beating me when we play online but surely there isn't that much between us that you get 400 points and i've only got above 100 once!? D:

I wish the matchmaking was a bit better, even at 0 points i've had to fight three guys with over 1000 points and one with over 3000... didn't stand a chance in hell.
 
Whats worse, is playing players who are 2000+ and whom I actually beat in the first round. Got cocky and lost the second round and let it affect me in the 3rd round.
The number of times this has happened to me... ugh.. terrible.

Playing you reminded me about them - wont be so easy to beat me now :D

Just not played much this weekend as had other things to do - will play more midweek though I suspect Ill get beaten by everyone now (how are people gonna juggle between this and KZ2 is beyond me :p)...

I'm so bad at this game, I've not even managed to beat Seth on the easiest arcade setting. Yet to win any ranked match and only won a couple of non ranked matches, probably by luck! Still trying to find a fighting stick, can't find any :-(
