Well I'm hoping it will last a life time, then I can maybe pass it on if I have kids. Also for me it's a cultural artifact and a work of art, go look at the insides of an automatic watch and see how skillful it is to design and create one by hand.

Perfectly good for the money, like several of the Airman models

some of the simple retro look models very nice too
